Our Program
Ridgewood Park Weekday Programs consist of two types of programs designed to serve a range of needs for parents and their children. The curriculum is thematic and is based on the concept that children need full, happy, and flexible experiences. We also offer Creative Movement as well as Drama for our 2, 3, and 4 year-olds, providing additional opportunities for creativity and expression. Emphasis is placed on the needs of the individual child to develop self-confidence and independence in successful learning opportunities. Our goal includes making sure that children are ready for kindergarten, which includes a balance of academic skills and social skills.
Our Staff
Our Preschool and Mother’s Day Out teachers are qualified, experienced, and dedicated. Each year our teachers participate in at least 24 hours of continuing education, including CPR and first aid. The preschool teachers are required to have a college degree.
Our Parents
All parents are members of the Parent’s Club, which includes opportunities to volunteer and assist with fundraisers. Parents are encouraged to visit their child’s classroom, go on field trips, and share any special talents they may have.
Our Credentials
Ridgewood Park Preschool was founded in 1960. The school is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Weekday Programs is governed by a Board of Directors whose membership consists of church members and school parents.

Hours
We offer a 2-day 3-day and 5-day program. Preschool classes begin at 9:00am and end at 12:00 noon. The preschool offers an afternoon program Monday through Thursday from 12:00 – 2:30pm called Lunch Bunch. A child may attend this program on the days he or she attends a preschool class. This program requires a separate enrollment with additional registration and tuition costs.
