Is a ministry that connects young adults in purposeful leadership and ministry to underserved children and families and connects churches to their communities in need. During the summer, children gather at churches with college interns as their leaders. In the mornings, the children spend their time reading or being read to by volunteers from local churches. We will be looking for volunteers this Summer during two designated weeks, to go to Casa Linda UMC and work with the children, Monday-Thursday, 9:30-Noon. Watch for more details.
In the poorest parts of the world, where effective window screens are lacking, insecticide-treated bed nets are arguably the most cost-effective way to prevent malaria transmission. One bed net costs just $10 to buy and deliver to individuals in need. One bed net can safely last a family for about four years.

Our Junior High and High School Youth Groups travel to different locations to help rebuild and repair homes for those who do not have the resources to make the repairs themselves. Youth are welcome to join our team. Contact Sara Orr
Since we share communion with each other each first Sunday of the month, we also share a meal with those in need. You may bring canned goods and/or staple food products for delivery to area food banks.
Any time you have gently used clothing or furniture, you may donate those items to the Wilkinson Center. The Wilkinson Center screens clients to deter mine need. Then they provide assistance to give people in crisis a leg up. You may drop off donations or have them picked up.
