Dan D. Rogers Backpack Program

The Backpack program is designed to meet the needs of hungry children at Dan D. Rogers at times when other resources are not available, such as weekends and school vacations.  These are the items we would like to include in the backpacks: Crackers/peanut butter or cheese, raisins, granola bars, Little Debbies, dry fruit, jerky, cheese nips, easy open soups and meals, Vienna sausage, chicken in a pouch and juice boxes.
There are 4 ways you can help- donate any of the above items and place them in the wooden crates in the hallway; make a monetary donation; fill the bags on Wednesday during WNL, or deliver the bags to the school on Thursday afternoons. Please contact Sherry Lundswick if you have any questions. slundwick@att.net or 214-534-8062.
