Part 3 of this sermon series finds us taking a look at Psalm 23.
We spend much of our lives living in the “valley of the shadow of death” instead of finding and living in joy. We so desperately crave this joy – joy in God. Notes: It seems like so much of our lives are experienced living in “the valley of the shadow of death.” Is that all there is – being reactive to the problems in life rather than proactively looking for moment to experience joy and happiness?
Is joy only something that we can find in our final retirement years? Or, is joy something that we can cultivate in our lives here and now? Can we move from “the valley of the shadow of death” to the joyful and tranquil “still waters” and “green meadows?” How can we find joy? Come and see!
