This Week in Worship-Fixer Upper: Renovating Mind

Join us Sunday for Part 3 of Fixer Upper!

We are so excited that our old, antique windows are being replaced. Our new windows allow us to see the outside world much more clearly than through the dim, cracked, and distorted windows that have been replaced. We often find ourselves in this same predicament in our faith journey. Looking through the dirty, cracked, and distorted windows of life, we often see others in clouded and distorted ways. In this parable, the Pharisee looked down upon the tax collector as being less righteous than he was. Do we find ourselves doing this? Is it time for a change of windows?

We must learn to see others through the window of God’s love and grace, not through our own dirty, broken, and dim window.
