This Sunday in Worship: Olympic Messes

Join us Sunday as we kick-off our 3-part sermon series OLYMPIC FAITH.

The Apostle Paul uses lots of Olympic imagery dispersed in his writings. As the 2016 Summer Olympics nears, we will challenge ourselves to consider our practice of faith. We are tempted to only connect with the Olympics through our television
screen, where we have an absolutely amazing view and probably the best seat in the house. Do we apply that same logic to our faith? Are we developing an Olympic faith or a spectator faith?

We are more than our past and present failures. We are beloved children of God. In our common communion experience, we are forgiven of these failures and encouraged to get back up. We find forgiveness in a loving God in Christ through the
Holy Spirit.
