New Sermon Series: Olympic Faith Starts July 31

The Apostle Paul uses lots of Olympic imagery dispersed in his writings. As the 2016 Summer Olympics nears, we will challenge ourselves to consider our practice of faith. We are tempted to only connect with the Olympics through our television
screen, where we have an absolutely amazing view and probably the best seat in the house. Do we apply that same logic to our faith? Are we developing an Olympic faith or a spectator faith?  This 3 part series will “run” parallel to the opening of the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. We will explore what it means to have an Olympic faith, such as that of the Apostle Paul.
